Also called Carrion Bees or Vulture Bees, Rot Bees nourish themselves not with pollen and nectar, but with rotting flesh. These bees can grow up to the size of a housecat and carry bits of decomposing animal matter back to their hive, which they build out of whatever carrion they do not consume. Because they do not have any way to embalm the carrion, their hives are constantly in need of repair and expansion as their building material has a short usable lifetime. | |||
