Pteranodons are flying dinosaurs that range in size from that of poultry to that of Wyverns. Unlike their cousins the Pterodactyls, Pteranodons have no teeth and are known to swallow their prey whole. Pteranodon diets might consist of insects, small lizards, or fish, depending on the Pteranodon’s size and its habitat. Pteranodons inhabit any temperate or warm climate, from deserts and coasts to jungles and grasslands. Some of the larger breeds of Pteranodon can be trained as flying mounts.
