[Back to creatures]

With the head and forepaws of a lynx and the lower torso of a spiny fish, the Michipeshu is an amphibious creature that dwells in large lakes. Many myths surround the elusive animal, but most agree that the Michipeshu is able to control the behavior of both snakes and fish. Some folk tales purport that the Michipeshu’s tongue can cleanse all venom from a wound.
