Info
An amalgamation of animated limbs fused together in a blasphemous degradation of all things living, a Transcendent will use its many limbs variably to scuttle across the ground and to overwhelm its enemies. Each time it defeats a creature, it can absorb their limbs into itself, growing stronger and more dangerous. These abominations are created through malicious [[occult]] activity and are not naturally occurring.
A typical Transcendent will have the stats presented below, but young or old Transcendents that have absorbed fewer or more limbs might have slightly different stats. You can adjust the Transcendent’s Size and maximum HP down to reflect a younger Transcendent, or up to represent a larger one. Changing its HP will make it a significantly easier or more deadly monster.

Some Transcendents might also keep the [[weapons]] that heroes had before they fell to the Transcendent, and when a Transcendent consumes a caster, it might gain the ability to use that caster’s spells that cost 15 or fewer SP, casting each one 2 times before it loses the ability altogether. It can only regain the ability to use magic by consuming another magic caster, which will give it access to a new set of spells. Giving a Transcendent access to such spells increases its Monster Level to 8.
