The Cannon Crab is a hulking crustacean that evolved during the Age of the Kaijan. This subspecies of crab evolved a unique defense against large predators. By instinctively gaining limited telekinetic abilities, Cannon Crabs learned how to launch large rocks and scalding hot water at threats.
Cannon Crabs are not predators, but they are fiercely territorial and will ruthlessly attack any non-crab creature that encroaches on their beach. Because they will protect other subspecies of crab, Cannon Crabs often act as caretakers and defenders to massive casts of crabs. If a beach has an unusual number of crabs, think twice before digging for treasure.
