Mawgawths are nearly invisible aerial predators that, when someone manages to see one, resemble gaseous, flying jellyfish. They are quite adaptive but most common in very warm and humid environments, like jungles and swamps. Mawgawths secrete a numbing mucus from their tentacles, allowing them to latch onto creatures undetected. Carefully penetrating the creature’s arm or neck, they inject a bloating venom that causes the creature’s bodily organs to begin dissolving. A Mawgawth will then sop up the soupy entrails of the creature with its central feeding tentacle.
