Although typically non-agressive, the Gyo-Gura has a remarkable defense if it feels threatened. By narrowing its mouth to a small round hole, it can spew jets of steaming-hot water hundreds of feet and can easily destroy dinghies and small fishing boats with a single jet. | |||
