Pachycephalosaurus

[Back to creatures]

The pachycephalosaurus is a bipedal dinosaur with a rock-hard cranial protrusion on the wide slope of its head. Like most herbivorous dinosaurs, pachycephalosauruses are herd animals, traveling in greater family units throughout the deciduous and tropical forests that they claim as home. Pachycephalosauruses use their incredibly hard heads during mating season, battling one another in head-slamming matches reminiscent of jousting in order to win the affection of their desired mate. Dinosaur wranglers that have managed to train pachycephalosauruses use them as living battering rams when attacking walled cities.
