Clikkiri Scorpion
Clikkiri are fusions of humanoid and insectoid, resembling bipedal, human-sized termites or ants. They can communicate basic ideas with one another telepathically out to a short range, sending brief emotional pulses such as “Food!” or “Danger!”. More detailed communication, such as “We are under threat from a grash” would require them to speak in person.
Some believe that Clikkiri are native to another continent on the other side of Ancerra, or are entirely alien to the planet, but others hold that Clikkiri have always lived in the ground beneath all other civilizations.
Regardless, Clikkiri generally want to be left alone to their own devices. Clikkiri generally hold to a strict caste system wherein a Clikkiri larva will be born into a specific role. They will grow up to become behemoths, builders, or a variety of militant fighters. Each serve their duty to the hive and the Queen Clikkiri.
