A Gretchling is a small, vaguely humanoid-shaped amphibious being that resembles a hairless raccoon with a frog head and huge, bulbous orange eyes. Gretchlings love ambient arcane energy, and they seek out scrolls, trinkets, and other objects that might have magical properties. Gretchlings feed off of this energy, and given enough time they can suck a magical item dry of any magic properties. Gretchlings feed on latent magic and are particularly attracted to [[Magic Items|magic items]], scrolls, and foci. | |||
