Nythixes

Insectoid creatures the size of house pets, Nythixes come in a few varieties. All varieties of Nythix are omnivorous, preferring berries and roots but eating small game when necessary.

Nythix Glider

These creatures resemble something between a centipede and a moth and are common in canyons. While they cannot fly on their own, they can glide and make great use of updrafts common in canyon environments.

Nythix Walljumper

Walljumpers have long, flat bodies like manta rays, although they are four-legged and otherwise behave in ways reminiscent of large lizards.
