Killian
Killian is an invisible man, or so he thinks. He’s unsure how it happened, whether it was a curse or by other means of magic, but one day he woke up, looked at himself in the mirror and only saw his robe in the reflection. Thinking it was a strange dream he went back to bed, but upon waking this nightmare appeared to be a horrifying reality. Whenever he tried to interact with other people and ask for help they would be shocked and would even flee, not giving him a chance to explain himself.
A Small Mishap
While Killian whole-heartedly believes that he is indeed invisible, he is actually just a confused and delusional revenant, possessing a robe instead of a human body. The necromancer who created him realized they messed up halfway through the spell and abandoned the project when the body they were trying to raise remained still. The robe the body wore, however, stirred to life a few days after the body was removed from the home it died in. Killian does not seem to realize that when he looks at his own reflection, he is just a garment with nothing inside it.
Wandering Spirit
When people encounter Killian, all they see is a floating, talking red robe with wide sleeve cuffs and a snug torso. While most people react to Killian with confusion and outright fear, it doesn’t stop him from trying to seek out people to talk to and especially to lament his condition. He feels like no one cares to listen to him or take him seriously, and he’s getting desperate for someone, anyone, to acknowledge his situation.
Urban Legend
While there are plenty of people who have encountered Killian, the majority of people in Bridgemoor have not and are thus skeptical about the tales of a floating robe. It’s a relatively new story too, as Killian only came into existence a couple of months ago. He tends to sneak into people’s houses in an attempt to get them to talk to him, which often doesn’t end well. This has earned him the nickname The Haunting Housebreaker.
