[Back to creatures]

The Brachiosaurus is the tallest dinosaur on Ancerra. With their thick, long necks, they tower over 40 ft high and stretch more than twice that long from the end of their tail to the tip of their head. These gentle giants typically travel in herds, moving on from an area after they deplete the trees of their leaves. These herds usually travel in migratory loops that take several years to complete. By the time a Brachiosaurus herd returns to one of its previous stomping grounds, the foliage has completely recovered, allowing them to graze on the tops of trees once more. Many nomad groups follow Brachiosauruses, relying on these enormous creatures to provide some level of protection from large predators like the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Brachiosauruses are hard to train, but make excellent pack animals if successfully domesticated.
