General Tenemei
General Tenemei, a kettek with leonine features, is Godking Neferu’s right hand man and oversees the Radiant Princes, a group of highly educated magic-using military commanders capable of serving on the battlefield or in a legislative hall as needed. While Neferu is begrudgingly respected, General Tenemei is outright feared for his cruelty. He has no tolerance whatsoever for disobedience displayed by the people of Nalathesh and has publicly executed heretics before just to prove a point. He isn’t bothered by his reputation in the slightest and actually takes pride in being feared. While he personally doesn’t believe in the myth of the Godking, he does believe in what he represents and fully supports his decisions. He is of the opinion that a nation with too much freedom is destined to fall to ruin. People are like sheep and they need someone to herd them, whether they realize it or not.
Military Power
Nalathesh’s military is well-trained and well-equipped. All soldiers respond directly to the Godking or his commanders, such as General Tenemei. The elite Bronzeguard are a legion of cavaliers that ride dracanises into combat, decimating threats to the kingdom. They often patrol the Flesh Pit to ensure that its foul presence does not spread. While far from the largest standing military on Gathandia, Nalathesh invests a tremendous amount of money and magical research into making their military as strong as possible. General Tenemei especially has made plans to increase their military power and has stated before that he is not afraid to start a war if it means sending a message to other nations on the continent, or even the world.
Oncoming Threat
Through the grapevine, General Tenemei has heard that there are people who want to remove him from power. While he doesn’t know who these people are, he has already taken steps to ensure this will not happen. He has managed to gather enough support from lower ranking military officials, as well as simple soldiers, to stage a coup if the Godking were to strip him of his duties.
