Eyesquito Progenitors are unholy eyesquitos capable of reproducing not through the typical egg sacs standard to an eyesquito life cycle, but by infecting a humanoid, turning the creature’s own eyes into new eyesquitos.

Features
Piercing Gaze. When a creature starts its turn within 30 ft of the Eyesquito Progenitor, it must decide whether or not to avert its eyes. If it does avert its eyes, the Eyesquito Progenitor is Hidden from that creature. If it does avert its eyes, the Eyesquito Progenitor is considered Unseen to that creature. On a fail, the creature is Sickened until the start of its next turn.

Piercing Proboscis. The Eyesquito Progenitor crits on a roll of 18-20.

Hunger. The Eyesquito Progenitor has +1 TA against creatures that are Bleeding or Bloodied.

Actions
On each of the Eyesquito Progenitor’s turns, it may take one of the following sets of actions.
  • Take two Tier 1 actions.
Tier 1 Actions
Move. The Eyesquito Progenitor can move up to its speed.

Proboscis. Reach 5 ft Natural Weapon. +3 vs FORT. Hit: 7 (1d8+3) sharp and 5 (1d8) necrotic. Crit: Roll on the following list to determine the additional effect.

  1. The Eyesquito Progenitor regains ½ of its HP.
  2. The creature is Sickened for 30 seconds.
  3. The creature gains Bleeding 1d6.
  4. The creature loses an eye.

Additionally, on a crit, the target creature must make a DC 16 END check. On a fail, it gains the Eyesore Disease.

High Alert. The Eyesquito Progenitor surveils its surroundings. Panoramic Vision becomes 1/Turn until the start of its next turn.

Reactions
Panoramic Vision (1/Round). When a creature makes a melee attack against the Eyesquito Progenitor, the Eyesquito Progenitor may immediately move 5 ft, causing the attack to miss.
