Florens are small plant creatures that resemble humanoid sprouts. They can grow to be about as tall as a [[human]], but only very old Florens achieve this size. Florens usually keep to themselves deep within their forests, but some are welcomed into [[Kleppin]] or [[Halfling]] communities. Florens usually do not do well in civilization, though, as they have a hard time grasping the concept of personal ownership, private property, and currency. In Floren culture, when someone needs goods or a service, the other Florens rally around their companion to be sure that they are provided for. Some Florens will collect acorn tops, decorative stones, and the like. While they may trade these items with one another, this is not a system of currency so much as a hobby that they find entertaining. | |||
