Transmissibility: Low

Infection: When a creature inhales a Deepshroom Hive’s cloud of spores, it becomes infected with Deepshroom Poisoning.

Symptoms: An infected creature gains the following symptoms at the start of each of the following days (after Taking a Rest, if they were able to Rest). The effects are cumulative.

  • Day 1: Become Demoralized.
  • Day 2: Become Shaken.
  • Day 3: Become Sickened.
  • Days 4-6: Gain Fatigue.
  • Day 7: The creature dies.
  • Day 7+1d4: The creature rises as a Deepshroom Shambler.

Treatment: Curing Deepshroom Poisoning requires one or more INT/Medicine checks. Each check must include herbs and medicinal salves worth at least 30 sc each, which the process consumes.
