Bloodoak Arborean: Difference between revisions

Uniquely vampiric plants with a hungering cunning, [[bloodoaks]] form through dark rituals when plant matter absorbs animal blood. The rituals that create these horrors are relatively easy to learn and implement, so cultists and unscrupulous mages often use bloodoaks as bodyguards and sentinels.

Some bloodoaks absorb so much blood over the course of many years that they eventually morph into an entirely new creature. Growing tall and mighty in a dark facsimile of the [[noble]] [[Arboreans]], these awakened bloodoaks break free from the wishes of their creators and command lesser bloodoak creations themselves.
