Some claim that the Mysterium’s “leader”, a powerful human psion called '''Orthos''', resides within the Eleventh Revelation and only chooses to visit the world on occasion while spending the rest of his time in a psychic demiplane of his own making. No member of the Mysterium has ever independently verified Orthos’ existence, but a wizened old man going by that name with a third eye tattooed on his forehead visits the Hanging Gardens and walks the Mortal Markets from time to time.

== Brazodir’s Blitz ==
'''''Read Aloud:''''' ''Alarm bells peal out and you hear screaming in the distance. A rush of wind, bringing with it the acrid stench of smoke, sends your mind’s eye rushing back to Grovecleft, the [[carnage]], and the Brazodontus’s terrible roar.''
''Overhead, you see enormous pterosaurs swooping down over Palask. Brazodiran soldiers drop burning barrels of pitch off these creatures’ backs, devastating the city with scalding flames. Deeper, sonorous roars echo from the docks.''
Brazodir launches a surprise attack on Palask in devastating fashion, attacking both from the sea and from the sky. Wherever the heroes are when this happens, they will have to fight off three waves of assailants, each wave consisting of a different combat encounter. Heroes may Catch their Breath between each battle.
Each battle is tied to a specific location. Your heroes may choose which locations they want to fight at, or you may assign them the three fights closest to their location at the time of the attack. If the heroes were not together at the time of the attack, have them coalesce around a central point for their first combat, perhaps starting on opposite sides of the battlefield.
Each of the city’s major locations are possible areas of combat, and the enemies that the heroes face are determined by the area.
Note that each of these locations should have multiple patches of hazardous terrain that deal 3 (1d6) fire damage per 5 ft moved, as a result of the aerial bombardment.
==== '''Dinosaur Ranch''' ====
A pack of baryonyxes are attacking the dinosaur ranch. The heroes must help Tarisha fight them off. Narrate how Tarisha is riding a pachycephalosaurus and fighting off a couple baryonyxes on her own, and how the dinosaur cavalry is quickly rallying to her aid. The heroes must handle one or more barynoyxes on their own.

=== From the Ashes ===
In the wake of the attack, Mangondulon makes his dramatic speech if he has not had a chance to. If he has already, then with a smoldering, quiet authority, he swears his vengeance upon Brazodir. He will then summon the heroes to attend him in court as they plan their retaliation.
