At first glance, a corpse flower might appear beautiful. Its red and violet petals take on violently bright hues that shine in stark contrast with its pale, fuzzy stems that sprout from a central, bushy root network. But a second look at a corpse flower will reveal the great horror that its distant beauty conceals: the largest blooming flower contains the face of a corpse flower’s most recent victim, for corpse flowers draw their nutrients from draining carcasses.

Features
Face of Fear. When a creature starts its turn within 30 ft of the Corpse Flower, it may avert its eyes, rendering the Corpse Flower Unseen. If it does not, then the Corpse Flower immediately makes a +3 attack against their WILL. On a hit, the creature is Shaken until the end of its current turn. If the Corpse Flower’s current face is of a creature that the target creature knew and was friendly with, then the Corpse Flower rolls 2d20 and uses the higher for this attack.

Photosynthesis. When the Corpse Flower is missed by an attack that would deal radiant damage, it regains 5 (1d10) HP.

Mulch. When the Corpse Flower ends its turn on top of a corpse, it gains Regen 3. After a corpse has given the Corpse Flower this benefit three times, the corpse completely decomposes.
