Facetheft

Occult Ritual, Altering, Dark Power
Casting Time: 30 minutes
Range: Touch
Materials: 20 sc worth of cocaine and a black pearl worth at least 40 sc, all of which is consumed
Recharge: Recoup
Duration: 8 hours
Spell Description
You or a willing creature that you touch takes 1d12 psychic damage as the target creature’s face and figure morph to resemble another creature. Choose a creature with whom you are familiar. For the purposes of this ritual, you must have spent at least 5 minutes in conversation with this creature or have observed them speaking in a public setting for at least 30 minutes.

The target of this ritual morphs to become a perfect replication of the second creature to the best of your knowledge. This magic does not recreate features of the second creature if you are unaware of them, such as a birthmark on a spot you have not seen.

The target of this ritual loses any of its lineage features that require activations, but retains any passive benefits such as skill points that it knows as a result of its lineage.

Dark Power
Dark Power: When you cast this ritual, make a magic attribute check against a DC of 10 + the character level or 1⁄2 the ML of the creature whose visage you intend to adopt. On a fail, the creature who benefits from this ritual suffers permanent facial scarring. This scarring is not apparent until after the ritual concludes. This scarring cannot be concealed or repaired by mundane means. It cannot be repaired by magical means, but it can be temporarily concealed by using this ritual again or by using other similar altering or illusory magic.
