Florens are small plant creatures that resemble humanoid sprouts. They can grow to be about as tall as a [[human]], but only very old Florens achieve this size. Florens usually keep to themselves deep within their forests, but some are welcomed into [[Kleppin]] or [[Halfling]] communities. Florens usually do not do well in civilization, though, as they have a hard time grasping the concept of personal ownership, private property, and currency. In Floren culture, when someone needs goods or a service, the other Florens rally around their companion to be sure that they are provided for. Some Florens will collect acorn tops, decorative stones, and the like.
