Lentira has a large university with scholars that specialize in legal theory and philosophy. The University of Constel attracts many students from many nations, leading to a vast dissemination of ideas. Headmaster Edwardton keeps in very close contact with the governing representatives of Constel.

After the ancient civil war that led to the split with Kendaria, Constel underwent a tremendous governmental change and became a democracy. Each town and city sends a representative to Lentira, where the representatives negotiate legislation on behalf of their constituents.

Constel exports tremendous amounts of timber and finished wooden products, along with clay goods and philosophical ideas. Constel trades locally with both Kendaria and Forsten and conducts maritime trade with Derk. While Forsten and Kendaria both used to be part of a single nation along with Constel, the Constelines do not generally begrudge either nation and try to foster strong alliances with both.

The Consteline standing army is quite small and ill-trained. Constel relies on a strong alliance with both Kendaria and Forsten to protect its southern and northern borders, while the Dreamhaze Mountains protect its west and the ocean its east.

Most Constelines are not particularly religious. While the Kendarians and Forsteners think that the Old Forest should be respected and paid almost a supernatural reverie, Constelines tend to be more pragmatic and do not think much of using the forest for an abundance of timber.

The shining capital city of Constel overlooks the eastern sea, about a day and a half north of Kendaria’s capital when the wind is in your sails. Lentira has a splendid university, several theatres, a sporting stadium, and famously large gardens where students and philosophers might relax or contemplate life. Its governmental buildings are constructed from hewn marble, and many of its other buildings are made of fine stone and polished wood.

'''Dreamhaze Mountains.''' The mountains that overlook the Old Forest are known as the Dreamhaze Mountains, so named because of the strange, dreamlike quality evoked by their misty slopes. It’s very easy to become lost in the Dreamhaze Mountains, even for skillful trackers, so most just avoid the mountains altogether. Those who do journey into the mountains often find inexplicable runes, come face to face with incarnations of their old memories, and must contend with strange monsters they have never heard of.

'''The Old Forest.''' The Old Forest sprawls across most of Kendaria and Forsten, and was once a major feature of Constel as well. While monster sightings are rare in these picturesque woods, travelers and locals alike are often left with a vague sense of unease after hiking therein. Children tell each other ghost stories that seem a little too real, somehow, and even skilled hunters have occasionally gone missing with no explanation. Although much of the Old Forest in Constel has been chopped down, these feelings of unease persist even when people spend time where the forest used to loom.
