Many isolated cottages are actually Bone Huts, the sentient lairs of Bone Hags. More monster than building, Bone Huts contain pocket dimensions within their walls, which might take the form of luxurious manors, humble cottages, or damp caves. Once inside, if a creature dies, the Bone Hut consumes its flesh and converts the creature into a [[skeleton]] that will serve the hag for eternity.
